The leadership of Afghanistan’s sports department met with H.E. Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chairman of High Council for National reconciliation in Afghanistan.
At the meeting, both sides discussed the role of sports and athletes in the Afghan reconciliation process, concerns of athletes about the Afghan peace process, and the presence of representatives from sports society in the national reconciliation process.
H.E. Dr. Abdullah Abdullah expressed his support for sports and promised that a Technical Committee will be formed, taking into account the various issues, with the participation of the representatives of the High Council of National Reconciliation and the Sports Department.
