Robina Jalali was elected the President of the National Athletic Federation of Afghanistan with an absolute majority of votes.
The Electoral General Assembly of the National Athletic Federation held its elections today with the participation of all provincial representatives and the leadership of the National Olympic Committee in accordance with the decision of the International Athletic Federation and its Executive Board.
At the end, Robina Jalali, the Women Vice President of the Afghanistan National Olympic Committee got elected President of the Athletic Federation for four years by public vote.
Mrs. Jalali is the first Afghan female athlete who participated in the Olympics games and has had the experience of 2004 and 2008 Olympic games in her workbook. Moreover, She is a member of Afghanistan parliament.
