Farzad Mansouri in 68 Kg and Mohsen Rezaee in 58 kg both won two silver medals and took the second position after beating their four components in the 8th round Fujairah Open International Taekwondo Championship 2020 G-2 in the UAE.
The team consists of 6 athletes including four male and two female, one coaches and a delegation.
At this event more than 2000 athletes from 40 countries of the world competed for three days.
According to the national Taekwondo federation another aim that athletes attend the competitions is preparation for Olympics games 2020 qualification competition. Prior to this, Afghanistan had never won a medal in the adult event in previous years.
