End of two important capacity development courses in Afghanistan

The 3rd round sports administrative course and volleyball referring refresher course successfully ended today in Kabul. 

The Afghanistan National Olympic Committee’s administrative course supporting by Olympic Soldierty program was held in Kabul for six days with the participation of two delegates of a man and woman from each federation in order to learn about various topics of sports administration. 

On the other hand, the 1st Volleyball refereeing refresher course under the support of the International Volleyball Federation was run for five days with the presence of 40 instructors, athletes and experienced members of the national volleyball team, including 10 women from across the country. The participants were taught theoretically and practically the rules and principles of refereeing by Mr. Masoud Yazdan Panah, one of the International Volleyball Federation members. 

Dr. Hafizullah Wali Rahimi, the elected president of the Afghanistan National Olympic Committee said that capacity development in the sports sector is one of his biggest priorities and appreciated the Afghanistan National Volleyball Federation for the implementation of the effective program in sports development. 

The participants also expressed their interests in such courses and said that this kind of courses could be absolutely effective in sports development in Afghaniatan. 

At the end of both courses the eligible participants received their certificates.
