The Afghan National Olympic Committee and the General Directorate of Physical and
Education and sports of the country set up the Afghanistan National Games in Kabul for
the first time.
The event was attended by more than 3000 athletes from various federations at the
gymnasium of country’s General Directorate of Physical and Education and sports.
The athletes from different federations also attended the demonstration after the most
spectacular parade.
At the same time, the commemoration of the 100 th anniversary of Afghanistan’s
Independence is another aim of the ceremony and athletes from across the country
continued to celebrate this day by holding competitions.
